Program Description

A sustainable TPM program requires leadership. Productivity Inc. and The Ohio State University created the Total Productive Maintenance Certification Program to give you the knowledge needed to be that leader.

This NEW TPM Certification Program has been designed for corporate and plant personnel looking to learn, launch, and lead a proven, systemic, equipment and maintenance management improvement process. The TPM certification focuses on three critical areas necessary for success:

  • Plan – The preparatory phase. Doing what needs to be done to assure readiness and create a solid foundation for your TPM program.
  • Do – The techniques and methodologies needed to transition from the realities of current state to the desired future state.
  • Lead – The cultural, leadership, and daily management characteristics necessary to keep your effort on track and assure alignment with the organization’s overall improvement and Environmental, Health, and Safety goals.

Over four non-consecutive weeks you will participate in a series of learning modules, then in between the weeks of training you will be required to apply the methods to operations at your own company.

For over thirty years Productivity has been helping companies to build their capabilities and improve their operations through the implementation of Lean Production and Total Productive Maintenance workplace initiatives. Working in concert with the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, Productivity has combined these years of implementation experience with the resources of one of the top business schools in the country to bring you the Total Productive Maintenance Certification Program. Join us and learn to implement TPM in an accelerated, safe, cost-effective manner, while becoming the leader necessary to ensure your company’s success.

Program Sponsorship:
It is required that each participant in the program have a management sponsor to attest to the participant's qualification for the program and to the results achieved through the homework assignments.
