TPM/Equipment Reliability Assessment (TERA)

The starting point for any organization wanting to improve is to get a good understanding of their current state. A reliability assessment will do just that. Given the boundaries of the target to be assessed, the TERA is a uniform method of gathering detailed information and baseline data to pinpoint and identify major equipment conditions, key cultural issues affecting the productivity of the organization, and to provide improvement considerations.

In collaboration with management, maintenance, and production personnel, Productivity consultants will perform an objective assessment of equipment reliability providing a clear understanding of current state along with recommended improvement opportunities, options, and alternatives, cost/benefit analysis, and, an implementation action plan with milestones and timeframe to execute the plan.

Based on your desired outcome, Productivity Inc. will tailor your assessment to be as cursory or in-depth as you require. We can also customize an assessment specific for your organization. Below is an overview of our three standard assessments:

A Four-day Equipment Reliability Assessment
This assessment focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of your facility pertaining to the implementation of all of the principles of the eight Pillars of TPM. At the conclusion of the assessment, Productivity will provide a complete written report with best practice examples, strengths, weaknesses and suggestions for improvement.

A Five-day Equipment Reliability Assessment
This assessment focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of your facility pertaining to the implementation of all of the principles of the eight Pillars of TPM. Plus, we will perform a TPM Scan on select (to-be-determined) pieces of production equipment within your facility to assess potential asset risk. At the conclusion of the assessment, Productivity will provide a complete written report with best practice examples, strengths, weaknesses, asset risk analysis, and suggestions for improvements.

A Five-day Equipment Reliability and Culture Assessment
This assessment focuses on the strengths and weaknesses of your facility pertaining to the implementation of all of the principles of the eight Pillars of TPM. Plus, we will perform a TPM Scan on select (to-be-determined) pieces of production equipment within your facility to assess potential asset risk. In addition, using an Assessment questionnaire and Social Scan Checklist, we will focus on the infrastructure/culture of the assessment target through individual interviews with determined members of your employee community. At the conclusion of the assessment, Productivity will provide a complete written report with best practice examples, strengths, weaknesses, asset risk analysis, culture audit score, and suggestions for improvements.
