Course Description
Are your employees empowered? Have you provided your process owners with the technical and soft-skill tools necessary to make solid business decisions? In most organizations today, the answer to both these questions is no, yet empowerment holds the key to long term sustainable improvement.
The objective of this workshop is to provide leaders and team members with the necessary skills to handle rapid change while performing their leadership responsibilities even more effectively. In today's business environment the role of the leader must change, they must delegate in order to achieve maximum performance. Today's leaders must continue to provide the "what" and "why" while allowing process team members to decide the "how". But assigning decision-making authority, accountability and freedom to act to others cannot be done in an arbitrary manner. This workshop provides leaders with a plan to guide the change process and to create a truly empowered workforce. Through the use of models, individual inventories, and small group interactions, participants will become aware of their roles in the organization and will learn techniques for setting expectations, leading accountability, and developing empowered employees.
