Course Description

Managers and supervisors play a central role in a Lean transformation. They are the critical link between management and the people in the workplace and bridge the gap between the current state culture and the desired one. In this module we will review and discuss the ten critical inter-personal performance factors necessary to support a lean transformation process and enhance organizational culture change.



Learning Objectives

This workshop has been designed to help participants to:

  • Become aware of the ten critical performance factors that are necessary for supervisors (team leaders) in a lean organization.
  • Develop & position the supervisor for a lean, flexible, best-practice organization (Profile of key skills required).
  • Provide supervisors with essential skills required to manage the workplace (mini business) effectively, continuously improving in quality, cost effectiveness, delivery/throughput, safety & morale (QCDSM).


Who should attend?

Anyone charged with making sustainable change happen in your organization, including but not limited to Continuous Improvement Managers, Lean Champions, Lean Managers, Plant Managers, and Directors of Manufacturing.



Cancellation Policy:

Registrations may be transferred to another colleague without charge. To be considered for a refund, we must receive notice of cancellation in writing no later than 21 business days prior to the event. Cancellations received within 21 business days are subject to the full fee and money will be held on account for up to one year for use at a future event. If no notification of cancellation is provided, registration fees will be forfeited. There is a $200 processing fee for all cancellations.
