Course Description

This unique hands-on session will take participants on a road trip to the PIT Crew Training facility in nearby Mooresville, NC. You will have an inside view of how elite pit crews plan, prepare, and perform. Using the same equipment and NASCAR-style race cars used for practice at PIT, attendees will participate in a hands-on outdoor, activity with PIT coaches and instructors as team leaders. From team work and communication to planned and preventive maintenance participants will get an inside look at what it takes to win the race and create parallels between the performance of today's pit crews and that of precision maintenance, manufacturing management operations.

Your day will include classroom discussion and group exercise on the NASCAR pit crew concepts, an off-site tour of an actual race shop, and a three-hour outdoor, hands-on activity.

Operations Managers, Lean and Continuous Improvement Managers, Production Managers, Maintenance Mangers, Green and Black Belts or anyone responsible for building and maintaining a continuous improvement program and culture in their organization.

Cancellation Policy:

Registrations may be transferred to another colleague without charge. To be considered for a refund, we must receive notice of cancellation in writing no later than 21 business days prior to the event. Cancellations received within 21 business days are subject to the full fee and money will be held on account for up to one year for use at a future event. If no notification of cancellation is provided, registration fees will be forfeited. There is a $200 processing fee for all cancellations.
