The PIT Training Experience

Thinking Inside the Box

Dates to be announced...

This workshop will be part of the Equipment Reliability Workshop Series. For more information on this series of workshops, please click here!

Course Description

With the racing pit crew as a backdrop, this experiential learning program uses pit stops as a tool for teaching the concepts of teamwork, quick changeover, workplace standardization, equipment reliability and more. Through a combination of classroom training and hands-on activities, we will address communication, roles and responsibilities, creative thinking, and work performance – all of which are highlighted through easy to understand examples by the pit stop experience.

The day will include classroom discussion and group exercises on the NASCAR pit crew concepts, an offsite insiders tour of an actual race shop and a three-hour outdoor, hands-on activity with PIT coaches. Participants will learn how to build a culture of team work and continuous improvement and the elements that will raise your equipment reliability program to the next level.

Lunch is included and participants will receive gloves, glasses and a DVD recording of the pit stops mailed after the event.
