Ahmet Caglayan
Ahmet Caglayan is a business consultant with Productivity Inc., a leading international consulting and education provider delivering Operational Excellence implementation strategies and improvement processes throughout the Global 1000.
Mr. Caglayan has over 20 years’ experience in planning, implementing and managing work place programs and management initiatives at the corporate, SBU and plant level of leading multi-national companies, and in a wide-spectrum of situations with medium and small companies.
Ahmet began his career as a Process Kaizen Engineer with Pirelli Tire Company. He subsequently spent the next 11 years with Pirelli holding progressive positions such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Manager, Pirelli Global Operations, TPM – Technical Efficiency Manager, and Global Outsourcing Logistics and Transportation Manager.
He transitioned from the Pirelli Tire Company to Management Consulting where he spent 10 years as a consultant practitioner active in a variety of margin improvement and revenue growth projects covering a broad-breadth of industries and a wide-range of process improvement practices and methodologies.
Ahmet then returned to industry joining The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company as Director of Global TPM, and subsequently appointed as Goodyear’s Director of Global Asset Reliability and Maintenance.
Today, as a business process improvement consultant for Productivity Inc., Ahmet works closely with employees at all levels of client organizations delivering operations improvement education and coaching, and process improvement strategies and techniques such as total productive maintenance, policy deployment, value stream management, 5S and visual management, and a broad-breadth of improvement tools in support of motion™ the Management System by Productivity Inc.
Ahmet is a JIPM (the Japan Institute of Productive Maintenance) TPM Excellence Award Winner and a Certified Process Kaizen Engineer. Ahmet speaks English, Italian and Turkish.
