Luis Mosqueda is a Partner with Productivity LA (LatinoAmerica), a Productivity Inc. affiliate located in Monterrey, Mexico.
Productivity LA is a consulting and training firm that specializes in delivering business process improvement solutions throughout Latin America. Mr. Mosqueda has over 25 years’ experience in partnering and building value-enhancing capabilities in service and manufacturing companies in industries such as Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace, Metals & Mining, Food & Beverages, Apparel, and Petrochemicals.
Prior to joining Productivity LA in the early 1990’s, Luis worked in the Metals & Mining Industry for Mexico’s largest private owned company HYLSA, part of ALFA GROUP, holding progressive positions in maintenance, process engineering, plant and design engineering, and operations. As Plant Director, Luis led numerous, successful, operations improvement initiatives advancing both revenue growth and margin improvement.
It was during this period with HYLSA, that Luis pioneered the positions of Preventive Maintenance and Spare Parts Engineer, Head of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, and Maintenance Manager leading to the formation and plant-wide diffusion The HYLSA Planned Maintenance System (aka the HYLSA TPM Program). Today, the principles and practices of this benchmark program can be traced to many brand name industrial companies found throughout Latin America.
Today, as a Partner with Productivity LA, Mr. Mosqueda is responsible for Productivity LA’s business operations. He continues active in a variety of process improvement engagements throughout Latin America, and in Asia, Europe, and the USA partnering with companies like Heineken N.V., Metalsa, The Coca Cola Company, Pechiney S.A., and more. Luis is a Go-Green advocate dedicated to the implementation of projects focused on energy savings. Luis is fluent in English and Spanish.
